Used in conjunction with bolt hole castors and allow you to fit the castor to the end of round or square tubing. Screw the adapter onto the threaded bolt protruding from the top of the castor, insert it into the tubing and turn the bolt. As you turn the bolt it compresses the adapter towards the head of the castor which forces the adapter to expand inside the tube holding the castor in place.
